Alright, I'm in ^^ After all, I've read 4 books about meth addicts who got violently raped =D I can handle this
I'm the best there is at what I do...
Ooooh, I enjoy reading books like that... I think it all started when I was in 6th grade, I got my hands on a book called 'A child called it' a book about a mans life and his childhood abuse. Lately I read 'Jake Riley; Irreparabley damaged' which is about a boy who- well, it's complicated. But rape is in it, along with implied beastiality and non-con.
And let's not forget Jack the ripper! :Looks over to book sitting ontop of her tv: Ahh, such a good case.
But what I do ain't very nice.

I kinda exaggerated what I read =P I read Crank which is about a meth addict who eventually did get raped (and had the rapist's baby) and the sequel, Glass (which was an extreme disappointment as compared to the earlier book). I also read Impulse, a book about these three children who went to a mental health facility for trying to off themselves. Finally, I read Burned, a book about a Mormon girl with an abusive father (the Mormon religion, by the way, includes that women are inferior to men and must always obey them). They're all by Ellen Hopkins. I'm in the middle of reading her last book, Identical. I just started, so I don't know much about it.

OH
I read Crank! I loved it, wasn't it told from the girls view [mostly] in freeform poetry verses, but the book was actually written by her mother?
I didn't know there was sequals :adds them to her list of stuffs to read:
But what I do ain't very nice.

It was all written from the girls view, and the book was written (not told by) a mother who VERY LOOSELY based it on her daugher's experience with "the monster". I highly recommend reading Impulse, Burned is pretty darn good, but I seriously don't think you should read Glass. It's the kind of book that isn't good, but you just have to know what happens once you start reading it. And when you finished, you're seriously disappointed. My friend told me that Identical was boring at the beginning but got fairly gripping at the end.
