Awww. Here the past few months has been 50 and lower. I can handle the 50's and 60's but the 30's and 20's are whats getting me. Like last I checked it was 27 out side crying

Yup - and sorry to say, it will probably get colder. And the wind chill - are there any hills or trees where you are? There really weren't in Indiana - the wind chill was the worst. xp

Winter is here
5°F / -15°C right now

And at midnight last night we saw the guy who lives across from us get arrested.
We had no idea why until this morning when we woke up and saw his car all bashed up in the front and our townhouse complex's 3x5 foot giant metal mailbox snapped from the ground and lying 10 feet from where it should have been.
He probably was drunk, was speeding, and forgot about how icy the roads are. > 3>;;
It was probably a hit and tub too since the police didn't show up until this guy (who was walking his dog at midnight?) circled the car for a while and likely called it in.
The crash was loud, I just didn't know what it was from until this morning.

I'm pretty much gonna have the greatest/dorkiest tree ever.
I think each year I'll make different Pokemon to go on the tree. That sounds fun. TIME TO MAKE SOME STARMEN (aka invincibility stars from Mario)!

then i will go to my next class wanting to change out of the stupid dress for success clothes

then i will go home on the bus and eat when i get home and cry and sleep

This thread is now opened! What better way to open than with a contest?

"We need a banner" Contest

So you've probably noticed by now that we don't have a banner [or a banner to affiliate with others]. Surprise, that's our first contest! we totally didn't wait til the last minute If you'd like to enter the contest, simpy PM your entries to I r Spirit Week. The deadline is December 6th! The following are things we totally need:

Font: Dutch & Harley
Main colors: silver (#C0C3CD) and lightskyblue (#87CEFA)
Size: 561 x 390
Text: "Winter Break" and "December 15-21"
Also need a mini banner to act as the affiliate link (no strict size limit, but our biggest for GSW was 200x40. basically nothing too huge?)

We will be awarding one winner with 30k in gold
All other entrants will get 5k in gold just for sending something in! [As long as you meet the requirements, of course. Limited to one entry per person]
