@ Envy: Cool....glad to know this idea has gone over well.

@ Zollo: I may only tell them they have won prize number __ to be delivered at the end of the event. That way the mystery stays until the entire event is over.

@ dia: I think what I'll do is get them to PM me with a number, so that way should they have to choose a different number, no one is going to know wound up with what number in the end. At least until we start seriously narrowing it down. The left over prizes (because I'm hoping to have those too) will then be donated at random to those I know participated like crazy in all the games.

But I'm not part of a fan base. Xenites are an Army.

Okay my question is this:


For the games, I want to number the prizes, and let people pick a random number based on the number of prizes I come up with. That way its more of a gamble as to whether or not you get what you want, and people wont get upset and no longer play a game because they think the only prize worth playing for is now gone. No one's gonna know who got what til the end of the event.

I totally agree with this and bite it sounds like a good idea and if we get upset baout how you do it we have serious issues because a mystery is better than telling,

The prizes will all be listed...just not numbered. And I'll have two separate sets, with the list of harder games having prizes of higher value (5,000 minimum).

But I'm not part of a fan base. Xenites are an Army.

Bite whatever you do I will love it and try whether I win or not I usually suck at most games. The point is too have fun and thats al;l tht matters no one should be obsessed with the prize that got. It came from you working hard and thinking of them now they need to think that way. Bite yay you better have fun games so I can attempt to win.

//Again Bardic.. in the end I think it depends on how you set something up. All about presentation and how you launch something that will determine if any chaos will occur. Just follow your instincts. I know this one girl from another thread used to do a game called the last prize standing. She had a bunch of nice prizes and she'd do like random trivia or silly questions and the first person to answer it correctly got to eliminate a prize from the pool.. and got entered into the final prize contest.. It was neat cus she would have them eliminate the prize.. and i think at the end when only one prize was left.. those who were entered into it were randomed or something to determine who won it. So, don't worry about thinking out of the box.. it usually turns out well.. especially if you refrain from leaving too much in the dark. //
