The gunpowder treason and plot...
Well, first of all, if you aren't familiar with V for Vendetta and are only here out of curiosity, go watch the movie and/or read the book. But that's not the major point of this thread.
Attention V Fans and people with nothing better to do!
Come November 5th, wouldn't it be awesome to stage an invasion of the V avatars, just like in the movie? If you wish to participate, begin collecting items to create a V costume. I post this now to give you the time to get it all together, since I know that many of you aren't exactly rich and will need to save up for the outfit.
I will help you if you don't have enough money! Just ask!
YOU WILL NEED: (Pink for women-only, Blue for men-only)
-Black, broad-brimmed hat (Chess Hat, Colonial Hat, Black Musketeer Hat, Coal Gunner Hat, and Black Zoot Suit Tapa are decent options)
-Black cloak or cape (Black Musketeer Cape, Lunar Cloak, Colonial Cape, Witch's Cape, and Picolitrosso's Urn (Velvet Cloak) are good)
-Hair (Egyptian Short Wig is good, or just use your natural hair if it looks right)
-White, full-face mask (Preferably the mask pose of the Epic Fail hat, but Kitsune Mask, THE MASK, Yokai's Treasure Yurei Mask, Picolitrosso's Urn (Porcelain Mask), Inari's Beads (Kao Ni Yomen), and Hockey Mask are acceptable; THE MASK needs to be paired with an Egyptian Short Wig)
-High black boots (Soldat Steel boots are ideal, other boots are acceptable, the Arrhh!! boots are brown but also just like his boots from the book version)
-Black shirt/top (If you can, use one that goes past the waist. Musketeer Top goes past the waist and can be worn over a shirt to "extend" it - women's Complex Shirts also go past the waist all by themselves, as do the Buttoned Down Fauna Peacoats.)
-Black pants or tights. (Colonial Stockings and Blade's Leggings are perfect, since they tuck into boots. Elegant Trousers and Ahhrr!! britches stop just at the top of Soldat Boots, so if you wear the Soldat Boots or Arrhh!! boots, these pants are also good)
-Black gloves that cover the entire hand. (Ghost hunter gloves or regular old "Black Gloves" are probably the best)
-Possible accessories are Pink Carnations, red or white long-stemmed roses, Sword of the Aegis in it's more daggerlike form, Dark Star held as a "Shuriken Blade" in the far hand, the Naruto kunai, and Roman Candles, especially the red ones)
-Gray Long Johns are very useful if you have little bits of skin showing and need to cover them.
Other options:
-Buying a Pink Floral Apron means you don't need a hat, cape, or gloves, since V didn't wear those while he was cooking.
-Exchanging the long black shirt for a Black Sport Vest, Gray Long Johns (to cover your wrists), and an Outlaw Biker Shirt (Coal) negates the need for a hat and cape, but since this is the outfit V wore when fencing, it'd be best if you had a rapier or a Sword of the Aegis to enhance it)
-Face backwards if you don't want to wear a Hockey Mask and can't afford a more expensive one!
***MAKE SURE YOU COVER AS MUCH SKIN AS POSSIBLE!***
