I'm going to start working on my cosplays for next year early, that way I have no excuse not to get them done.
Plus I need to work on the cosplays that my fiance wants to do.
It shouldn't be too bad... just extremely time consuming.

It is time consuming I will agree - but totally worth it... but for me... I need something that consumes time since that is all I have
since after today I was told by my chiro and my doctor I can file for disability officially because of my back. I have damage on my L1-L2 and fractures on my L4 - L5 and have acute chronic pars of the spine... so yeah... I have all the time in the world basically now.

yeah though i was never one to sit around and do nothing... I always had to do something and so its going to bother me for a while
so I have to have a hobby and yeah its good that I can get that or id be s.o.l so to say.

But I don't think they're visible for the transformed costumes?
And I don't have money so I'm not buying anything extra.
My mom did bid on that Kyubey for me though.
And she has all the costume materials already to make it for me.
She's even making the sword.
All I have to do is mail her my measurements.

I only got the wig but it was super cheap on eBay.

As much as I enjoy being lazy and having nothing to do, I always feel bad when I don't accomplish something each day.
Even if the only thing I do is take a walk in the morning, or get some other form of exercise in, I like knowing that I've done something with my day.

Along with Homura, were you thinking of doing any other cosplays?

Also, quick question because I suck a deciding on things: Should I attempt to make Pinkie's Grand Galloping Gala dress or Princess Coronation dress?
I'm asking all of my friends and then doing the one with the most votes. xD

No, I don't think they're visible either.
I just want to collect them for the sake of collecting.
I actually have a space set aside in my room for those, plus some figurines that I'm thinking of bidding on.
And an eventual Kyubey plush.

I hope I have my own sewing machine before this year is over.
That'll make cosplaying soooo much easier.
My Chrysalis cosplay required absolutely nothing to be sewn, thankfully.
If I do either of Pinkie Pie's dresses for next year though, I'll for sure need to have access to a sewing machine. I mean, I could use my grandma's whenever I visit, but that's only once or twice a month and that won't really help in the long run.

I vote the second, if only because I think it would be easier to approach as a design for an actual dress. Though the first has more of a Pinky Pie feel...

It's mainly just little stuff now, but it's the little stuff that is a pain to make vectors of.

I thought of homura - but then I was debating on going again as utena tenju from revolutionary girl utena - but there is always too many of her
so I am opting out on it... not many madoka characters though. Then I was thinking I could try to pull off a simple cosplay like Mizore Shirayuki
from Rosario + Vampire:

or for laughs paint myself green and go as starla from the regular show... since I normally do these things myself
I dont go too far out - yet. lol
Been debating on maybe being Rarity or Twilight in fancy outfits as well.

now with pinkie its hard to pick which one cause they are so cute...
but I think that the one with the icecream on the hat looks fun <3
