In the end you just have to do what you want to do. Plenty of people get by just fine through online stuff, like online stores or streaming, or starting a Kickstarter campaign. It's crazy but totally possible.
And yeah, it took me almost a year after graduating to find a real job, so quitting it now is really terrifying but it's not worth staying. But yes, having a degree is no guarantee for anything. Everything sucks right now and finding work is hard.
And in college, I kind of let people push me into technology instead of English because "that's where the jobs are" but now I can't even find anything so it does just feel pointless and wasted. I never even considered not going to college since my whole family has and it's been ingrained in me. And I loved the social life and being away from home and stuff. I didn't mind classes either. It's just that I regret my major and can't find a job either way.
SO YEAH. DO WHAT YOU WANT. Ignore other's opinions, it's your life.

Finance is pretty much the worst thing ever and I was super scared I'd fail again too. But I took it again and didn't so it worked out. I didn't have another option to take instead but I wouldn't want to leave that F there either. :c
