But I might ask my parents for them for Christmas since I haven't told them anything I want besides money. xD

Also I've decided I'm going to ask for 12/24 to 1/2 off and see what happens.
I'm on probation so I don't get paid holiday and I won't get paid vacation days, but I have 2 weeks to use and I'm pretty sure I can start using them now. I just won't be paid for it.
But it's either use that up, or miss out hanging with Chris's friends (some of which moved to Ohio and haven't been seen since last summer), make Chris super grumpy because he'd have to drive me into work during his vacation days [and also miss seeing his friends], and burn myself out on a job I already dislike by hating it even more from working over the holidays.
So a little loss of money is worth avoiding all the negatives, I believe. I'm not hurting for money yet either, since my loans don't start until late January.
