Nope. Since X and Y use the 3DS friends codes and the Pal Pad doesn't exist anymore.

I'm glad that they did away with the Pal Pad and the different rooms in the Pokemon Center, though.
It makes things so much easier.

But yeah, I guess we'd have to figure out which gen of games to play if we do a competition sort of thing.
I know I'd prefer the newer games, but not everyone has them yet.
