I bought a new swimsuit today!

But more importantly, I bought it with my own money!

I haven't been able to do that in YEARS. It felt good. Now that I only have to worry about buying gas to get to work, I'll actually have money to spend on myself that ISN'T food! biggrin

and what? AJ in a skirt? She seems like a denim jeans kind of gal, with like adorable patches her grammy sews on when they get torn. and Rainbow Dash flies. how is a skirt a good idea... xD

I'm not a big fan of the Equestrian Girls character design in general, it just feels like they took a "one-size fits all" approach. Because there is only one body type and height in the world and the only kind of bottom a girl can wear is a skirt.

I mean, I see what they were going for in giving them a sort of uniform look, but I don't think it was in the spirit of MLP's message. The whole point is that these girls are different kinds of people who can still be friends!

but they want to sell dolls and its cheaper to use the same mold, sooooooo

If you've seen the trailer for EqG, you'll see that AJ and Dashie are both wearing skirts, although Dashie has some legging shorts on underneath.
Still...
I know these are the same people who worked on MLP:FiM, so you think they would you know, know the characters.

Even Lauren Faust isn't amused over any of this. I feel bad for her, really. They completely changed her ideas, so it's no wonder that she left after season 1.

...So I got my final internet bill from my old college house in my email this morning and apparently it all comes out to they owe me almost 5 dollars?
Not that I'm complaining ninja
