Bleh, I wouldn't trade this relationship for anything, despite having issues with who we're going to spend the holiday with.
It's not such a big deal, in the grand scheme of things.
Just a minor annoyance that I'll get over once January comes.

This wouldn't be so difficult if Gabe's mom didn't want to go to Virginia.
You'd think it'd be easy considering our families live in the same town, but if she goes out of state, I know Gabe will want to go.
He's been a real momma's boy lately and I'm not sure why.

Besides, we spent last Thanksgiving and Christmas with his family. This year we did Thanksgiving with my family and I think we should spend Christmas with them as well. I think it's only fair.
I even said that we can do an every other year thing with our families, so it'll be equal.

Why not have one holiday with one family and the other with the other family, then the next year switch those two up?

i dont really understand since my family is literally just my mom, grandma, and brother.. which i live with, and we never do anything special lol

I know it's just fanmade and it can't be perfect. I started out my post admitting that. : P
I was just saying what I thought of it, and that I don't think it deserves the hype it's getting. He's like piggybacking on an already super popular thing and gaining fame by association and I know he can't sell it or anything, but maybe he could take donations for the "work" of making it, and make money that way [until Nintendo catches on and sends a cease and desist order or something].
But yeah, there's programs out there that do everything for you. They've got premade sprites, areas, probably music, and more stuff that you just input what you want into the program, it does the coding on the backend for you so you never have to see it, and ta-da! You have a game with no effort. It probably won't be that good though. But it seriously is drag and drop and it generates itself.
It drives my boyfriend insane, because it takes away value from his actual programming skills. He was working on making his own game but then stopped because people were making things in such little time with so much less effort and it frustrated him. :c

...I emailed my loan people and asked when my first payment would be due.
They said 1/22. I just got an email that my statement is online and it's due 12/22.
So uh. I'm lucky it'll be due after I get my first paycheck. Ugh.
