I feel like this applies to any art school, honestly.
It's part of the reason why I gave up on the Art Institute and decided to go to school for a degree that had nothing to do with art, and the friends I know who graduated from there feel like they wasted 3 years of their lives.
Not that I'm saying going to school for art is pointless, but it does seem like art professors are way too harsh on their students. Again, I'm saying this from personal experience. Not everyone draws the same, or sees art the same way, which is a wonderful thing... unless you're in an art school.

I'm sorry your professors did that though. I think you did a wonderful job.

Am I the only one not totally impressed with the new Pokemon that have been revealed so far for gen 6?
I'm, so far, only kinda sorta interested in the two legendaries we've seen.
The starters do nothing for me.
The new Eeveelution does nothing for me.
That new Mewtwo form or whatever does nothing for me.

This, however (and despite it being a joke) makes me happy and needs to be real. Dunsparce for sure needs an evolution.

But yeah, I'm very underwhelmed with the new generation so far, but I'm still holding out hope for lots of new, awesome Pokemon to make up for that fact.

I've been the same way about new gens since gen 3, honestly.
There are a few from each of the newer gens that I do love, but overall it's been "meh".
Though gen 6 seems to be the worst offender so far.
I never wanted to be one of those people who says that they're running out of ideas, but...

I need to wash hella clothes today and do some shopping.

Lol, yes, yes they were.

It was just funny because I showed my Electronic Art prof (the only one whose opinion I somewhat care about), and she said something along the lines of it looking very cartoony. I know it was partially because I ran out of time/struggled with the guy, but she said that even putting him aside it had a caroony/anime feel that the others didn't. Despite the fact that they were done in the EXACT same style as my previous illustrations. emotion_facepalm

Oh well, I'll tweak it a bit, and then I need to start my next one. I think I'll do an Egyptian god next...

I haven't played Black 2 in a while though. I'm trying to breed a shiny Cubchoo and... it's boring.

I thought I was going to have to waste my 1 day of saved up vacation time

But I was told I can work from home so... while setting up a virtual machine to remote into work, I'm playing Persona 4.
And cooking lunch. And drinking tea. And watching Chris play Minecraft.

When I get back from my trip, I'm going to clear out some space in the closet so I can have room for my plushies, especially since I plan on getting Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie Pie plushies from Walmart today.

Are you guys expecting any more snow overnight or anything?

I know how you feel. I don't have any friends here in WV.
That's why I look forward to going to PA on the weekends when we do.
So I'm a little sad that we won't be going back to PA until the beginning of May, but thankfully I'll be spending an entire week with one of my best friends.
It's just weird that we're finally meeting face to face.
Also, another one of my friends will be picking me up from the bus station on Sunday. We're probably gonna hang out and stuff before she drops me off at the other friend's place.

All of my birthday money has gone towards toys and plushies so far.
Oh, and the few things I bought at the con.

Oooooh, that would be awesome! Two of my friends are going to Japan for their honeymoon.
I've already decided that I'm giving them money to bring me back all the Pokemon and One Piece stuff they can carry.
