Oh man, looking through my old art. My "draw people way too skinny" phase was even worse than I thought, and apparently I had a "draw legs way too skinny" phase to follow up. redface

Spazz here, starting off your morning with another work rant. ;D

There's a foot of snow on the ground and more is rapidly falling. But since I don't get my paid time off yet, we got up and my fiance started driving us to work. A short while in he decided to turn around. That it was too dangerous. But a car was blocking the way so we had to go on. And suddenly we were halfway in so we kept going.
He drives a little Mitsubishi Eclipse. It is not a snow car. But I'm at work now and he's heading to his. He's super angry at my company for their "employee benefits" and so am I. at least I only have to work 6 hours today to reach my weekly 40. But in a way that makes it even less worth driving in and more frustrating. Risking our lives for $60.
The icing on top is that my manager and none of the executives are in today.

I'm going to start looking for other jobs today.

Snow pictures!

Also Chris drove home, not to work.

And posting and uploading those photos took a lot of effort from my phone. But I'm pretty resigned to not doing anything today.
Not that I ever have anything, especially when my boss isn't here. Or even when she is.

I would normally say "Stop complaining! At least you have a job!"

But...

You need a new job, yo.

EEWWW SNOW!
*hisses*
We got freezing rain this morning and that's about it.
I swear if I see snow one more time this winter, I'm gonna snap.

I know I should stop complaining too but...
Yeah. :c

I used to live snow because it meant school and work would be canceled.
I miss the south. xD

Nah, it's understandable.
Your job sounds sucky.
I'm sorry.
;n;

I remember when my aunt and uncle moved to North Carolina a few years back. School was canceled because there was less than an inch of snow on the ground. My uncle sent a picture to my phone and was like "These people down here are crazy."
Up north, it takes a lot more than that just to get a 2 hour delay.
rofl
When I was in high school it was like "Oh, there's a blizzard outside? Is the wind chill above 10 degrees? You all can still go to school."

I repeat: I miss the south. xDD
Last year (or whenever my last semester was) we got half an inch...
Campus shut down for 3 days. THREE.

Lol!
I remember having to dig my car out of the snow so I could get to my classes and take my grandma to work. That was about 3 years ago.
We had at least two feet of snow at the time, and the community college wasn't even thinking of having a delay.
Even West Virginia has been like that.
I guess I'm not far enough south yet.

Guess not. xD
North Carolina is though. Weird.
Chris had to shovel the driveway before we could leave. I hadn't seen this much snow since like... Elementary school when we got 2 feet once.
That was insane. D:
