basically you go to this link and make an account, download it and extract it

the ROMs you can use are Fire Red, Heart Gold and Soul Silver, i only have a link to FR but i'm sure the others are out there lol

basically it's like you're playing fire red all over again, but you'll see tons of people running about.
you can trade with people (and even just give people pokemon if you want, i gave a friend a pikachu when we were trying to catch them), battle with people, make a team and invite friends, etc.

the trainers you usually see that run up to you, won't run up to you in this mmo, I'm not sure if it's a glitch or if it was done intentionally. you can walk straight up to a gym leader and skip the other trainers if you want.

" Hey everyone, this is Shieran. I'm sorry to put a damper on your new year, but I have some very sad news.

My co-captain of Spirit Week, Varlot, was in a car accident last night and passed away. I'm very sorry to have to bring you such disheartening news, but as I was the only one to know her in real life, I felt I had to let the awesome Spirit Week community know.

but even if your in another team you could always wear something red/black related
in honor of varlot.
But it really is sad to wake up to hearing about this and
GSW wont be the same without her but I hope that GSW continues
as a tradition and in rememberance.
and on their mule they should have something durem-related on her so she is never forgotten.
