I mean its OBVIOUS that its Secret Santa
But its secret until xmas, Right??? I mean, after the gift has been received we can tell everyone or am I wrong???

I suppose if you really want to tell, or you really want to know who gifted you, you can. After Christmas, like you said. But that kind of ruins the whole "Give for the sake of giving" spirit, in my opinion.

Watch me say that now, but totally be asking who gave me my gift later.

Having one person distribute just means everything is given on the same day
And it's a regulator to make sure everyone does give something, and on time
I think it's more just to keep things to the rules/on schedule/working
