Again, I really wish I could help, but school + projects + retreat takes up at least one of the rehearsals and one of the shows. gonk

We're not on the same schedule -- the entire plans for September has been nixed and we're waiting on the formation of a new schedule with auditions placed late in the month.

REALLY?! Maybe I can audition then. Provided that all this takes place in September. And that stuff isn't during my class times, seeing as I have class from 8a-5p M-F. Uh, central time that is. ^^'

I was going to sit out this month because I am SWAMPED with wedding planning and plus I felt like I really wanted to watch you guys do bare instead of be in it, but then you went and changed to Rent AND I CAN'T NOT BE IN RENT X________X *stabs self in eye, bleeds, dies.*

But then again you're postponing till late September so that technically IS still taking a month off. SO yay. =D

Bare was canceled. Not enough people auditioned and we decided that rather than stress everyone out, especially since September is a hard month for us all (school and all), and butcher the script trying to make it work for fewer people than we hoped to have, we just scrapped it. I mean, we can always do bare another time. We could even do it after Rent. This isn't the first time we've abandoned a show or scrapped a casting and re-cast one, though it's only happened a few times in our history -- sometimes it's just something we have to do. And this time, instead of just putting off and recasting a show, I decided to put it aside -- this is a good time for Rent, considering the closing, so.

Also, for you all who weren't at auditions, Towns was a pain. Everyone's avatars weren't loading and in the chat box it showed your usernumber instead of your username. So it was almost impossible to hold auditions under those conditions.

As for when it will be -- Krissy tells me in the LJ that she's back home on the 24th. I was thinking maybe auditioning on the weekend of the 19th, but I now might move it to the weekend of the 26th. Which is practically October. TANGENT ALERT11! We might end up getting caught doing shows stuck between months, but it's not like THAT hasn't happened to us before either xd Actually, looking at the previous shows, that seems to have happened to us every fall so far: In 2006, across August/September and September/October and righting itself in October (well, really, November, as we had to recast October's show), then in 2007 across October/November and fixing itself by skipping December (because, see, it'd have ended up late December/early January and hit too many holidays). TANGENT COMPLETED.

BTW Krissy saw the final performance of Rent so feel free to kick her a**.

Adjusting to college is different for every person. And you've been at this for at least 2 years. So, you know how to handle it. Unlike some of us who are only in our 3rd week of college.

I HAVE to focus this year though. I was kinda slack last year and it resulted in a 1.9 GPA (Story of my life. Always one point away. rolleyes ), so I have to be at LEAST above 2.0 to stay in University.

(Really, I haven't posted in the last few days because I have a science test, a geometry test, and a reading test.)

And I also was trying to fix my iPod Nano the past few days, and now I'm super mad that the new generation came out. -Hmph-
