Le Fantome
I hope Arq will notice this. I am sad to say that I will not be able to perform tonight at the opening. I will not be able to stay the whole entire performance, possible throught the beginning of Act II, but that is about it. It is a school night for me (yes sadly tomorrow is my last day of school) and I'm not sure if I'm going yet. I just wouldn't want to show up, and then suddenly be kicked off the computer during a performance, to have people wondering where the hell I am. I'll still try my best to show and stay, but I cannot gaurantee anything...
Okay. I'll sub for you, and hopefully the attendence will be good enough as to not cause any problems.

I take it we'll find out the other nights casts after opening night?
Usually I post them on those off days between shows, but with people coming and going all over in this cast I'll probably put together the cast lists for all the shows tomorrow.
In rehearsal, this production of Wicked was running less like the 2 hours we promised and more like 3 hours, and obviously there was a lot of concern about this. Rent was our best show as far as time goes (with all the rehearsing and script readings it was more thoroughly edited), so I put the text in an editor and the word count is about 5400. The word count for Wicked as it stood during rehearsal was about 6700 words. So, through extensive cutting and editing, I've managed to get it down to 5600, which should work well enough. (Besides, the Rent script has pretty much no stage descriptions, so that should make it fewer words anyway. By the way, Rent is officially the show we're doing next month! If you haven't seen the script, it's
here. That script might need to be updated a little, though, since it's missing a lot of stage directions and I don't like to put costume changes in the script itself anymore.)
