The current contest is to write a scene (dialogue). When we've done musicals in the past, it's by taking what is a musical on- or off-Broadway and using the dialogue/lyrics from it as the contents of the script. Any original play we'd do wouldn't be a musical because they'd be written for the GTC which involves no music. We only call what we did before musicals because the shows we were reenacting were.

As for an Anniversary thing... why not do Phantom of the Opera? The Show that helped spur the GTC's creation.

I would agree with you on that one Cube, but that involves a LOT of singing, and wouldn't it be REALLY hard to memorize those songs? Even though it would be cool, there would be lots of people in there. I would audition. mrgreen
