It's nice to see the GTC posting again. I was sad that the whole thing just seemed to die out. If you guys do decide to do another show I'll def audition.

GAIA IS HARD TO WORK. Now I have to figure out how to stop it from blocking images constantly. :
I FIGURED IT OUT. I know you all were anxious to hear how my progress was. :)

lol I just saw the poll and realised I am an uncultured heathen.

The only plays I recognised were Billy Elliott (because of the film) and Spring Awakening (because it was my first GTC production). Time to inspector google it.

The only reason I recognized the Book of Mormon is because I watched the Tony Awards and it almost swept the entire thing. Plus the fact, that I was rather surprised when I heard that the creators of South Park actually wrote a play.
Gaia tells me I can get achievement points if I make a post. Don't mind me.

(PS to be somewhat on topic: Book of Mormon is amazing.)
I don't know much about some of them either beyond watching the Tonys, I just picked the last 5 Tony-winning musicals and plays. I think people tend not to pay much attention to plays, but I thought I'd do plays a favor. We ignore them a lot at GTC. Ironically razz

We've got an interesting offer to partner up with a cool guild and do some stuff. But first we need to figure out what we want to do with ourselves.
I've heard of them but know next to nothing about them. Except when I see BoM abbreviated I think of bowel movements.
We had a secret meeting in Towns just now*.

We decided that since GTC performs them so much anyway, our next show should be a crossover of Spring Awakening and Chess*.

* This is a lie**.

** But an accurate description of what's been playing on my MP3 player lately***

Won't lie. I'd like to see the GTC try play-plays more. Like The Importance of Being Earnest, for example. Cast of nine, but it could easily whittle down to eight. Maybe even less.

I shall impersonate a man. . . .

Come, enter into my imagination and see him! Bony, hollow-faced... eyes that burn with the fire of inner vision. He conceives the strangest project ever imagined... to become a knight-errant and sally forth into the world to right all wrongs as Don Quixote de La Mancha!

*Begins humming tune from Man of La Mancha*

Just leaving this here. (This needs to come out on DVD ommgggg)
