Since starting this survey, I have collected 32 participants' information. I doubt this is an accurate representation of Gaians, but here is what I have...
Of a sample size of 32:
Average worth: 68,507,890 gold
(Standard deviation for total worth at 135mil; min. at 72k ;median at 242mil max at 626mil
Average Gold on Hand: 3,916,822 gold
Average Age: 21
26:5, female to male
On average, people have two other accounts.

Post or send me your screen cap to establish how much your account is worth.
Now fill out the following fields-
Age:
Gender:
Gold on Hand:
Year Joined:
Number of Other Accounts:
If you are uncomfortable sharing age, feel free to specify within the following classes:
A. 13 - 15
B. 16 - 18
C. 19 - 21
D. 22 - 25
E. 26 - 30
F. 31 - 37
G. 38 - 45
H. 46 - 50
I. 51+
I will not publish usernames or identities.
Once conclusions can be made, I will share my findings.
This is really up to you all.
Voluntary-response samples should not normally be used to make conclusions about a population, but I cannot exactly subpoena your account information.
Spread the word, the larger the sample the better the statistic resembles the population.
Feel free to ask questions, if you may have any.
I will try to make time to answer anything you may have concerns over.

Hello, fellow Gaians. As a population we all participate in a kind of economy, where virtual gold acts as our valid currency and goods are purchased and sold in large amounts every day.
I am naturally curious, both about the nature of this economy and the potential of the population.
So I am here to collect data samples to establish a better understanding of classes here in Gaia (other than newfags and oldies, rich and poor. I want to get a sense of actual differences in worth). I would like to see meaningful discussion about economy, markets, and statistics.
I don't mind informal tangents, just don't derail the thread.
