Have you ever wondered how many Gaians live near you? Well, wonder no longer! Gaia Online Location Database (GOLD) is dedicated to connecting Gaians across the world.


1. Post your Username, Country, State/Province, and City. Please do not get any more specific than this. Your post will be deleted as it violates Gaia's policy on information gathering. Once you have posted your info, I will then update the map.
   
2. Check out our handy map to find friends in your area. It's as simple as that. Click "Save to My Maps" and check back often as our database is constantly growing.

GOLD's Story

I kept having this nagging suspicion in my head that there are other Gaians out there that live near me. These could be people with similar interests that I could be hanging out with; you know, sharing in our Gaia geekery.

One day I was in between classes and I walked into the computer lab. I just happened to glance over and out of the corner of my eye I saw someone on Gaia! I struck up a conversation with him (Droig) and we ended up becoming friends.

So that sparked the idea to start this project called Gaia Online Location Database (GOLD). I've got this sweet Google Map that visually shows where other Gaians are, not just some big list. But just because you live near another Gaian doesn't mean that you'll want to hang out with them, right? Well, this map features links to profiles so you can see if this Gaian is someone you might wanna hang out with.

I hope that this project can bring some people together.
