Hello my dear Gaians.
My name is Smeagi and I am in the process of construction an image archive of Gaia's past to present.
The project is currently called The Archive.
My goal is to create a resource thread for all of Gaia to use, with an extensive collection of images, saves and screen-captures from Gaia's history.

However, you can't have an image archive without images!
So what I ask is of you, my dear fellow Gaians, is to bless me with your personal collections. I know you have them! Hunt through your computers, harddrives, CDs and floppy disks and drag on out those saves, screencap and edits from years past.

But what are you looking for?
Here are some of the key areas we're looking for images from:

> Old NPC shop fronts - Plain or Event
> Old NPC Art (event and regular)
> Personals Screencaps!
> Event screen-captures
> Banners/graphics from memorable threads or user events
> Old trends - Jokes, classic signatures, event memorabilia etc...
> Past layouts = We're especially interested in pages other then the main page!
> Please no Prom screen-caps, we have heaps!
> Is it Old? We want it! - The older the better!!
> Is it of or related to Gaia? We want it!
> Not on this list? Send it anyway!
Basically we want it all!

So you have something to submit?
Well that's great!
All you need to do is post your image(s) then below that fill in this form (or something to that effect).
Please make all submissions in this thread (do not PM).
And please link large images to minimize page loading time and to prevent page stretching <3

If you don't have them already uploaded onto Photobucket etc, I do have MSN, AIM and YIM, so if that is easier for you PM me and I'll set it up.

We probably won't be able to use everybodies images, but please submit them anyway <3

If you are interested in seeing the thread in it's incomplete form, it can be found here. Please do not post in the linked thread! the posts made so far are from people involved.


Even if you don't have anything to submit (you lie!) please subscribe the to thread if you are interested in the idea. It probably will not get launched for another couple of months, it is of course a huge undertaking, so be patient.
We'll be having a big launch party once it it completed, so if you want to be informed closer to th completion date just let up know in this thread and I'll add you to a mailing list <3
