You realize the more cultists SIN has the more they have to work?

Every mule someone makes for SIN makes the denominator larger, thus making the product smaller.

Unfortunately being the BIGGER team might actually work against us.
This.

It's the same thing that happened to Durem during the Summer Event's second year.

Yeah see I've always seen this as a slight flaw in how things are done in Gaia. Especially because of the use of mules. I mean one or two mules isn't going to make a difference... until you have several people making mules and dumping them on a team. Plus how is an underdog and underdog if it always wins?

... So, let's disregard the fact that our lazor is firing as much as the large stick is launching, but it doesn't count.

Yep, let's just disregard the fact that B.O.O. has an unfair advantage right now, and let's look at the numbers that are already there.

... By Whatever Means Necessary.
S.I.N. CURRENT SCORE

Build/Power/Sabotage Level / # Cultists: .... (1040 + 3190600 + 300) / 88297 = 36.15
Total Cultist Experience / # Cultists: .... 6596333 / 88297 = 74.71
Weapon Fires: .... 75 * 100 = 7500
Followers / Players: .... 1236158 / 88297 = 14
+
______________________________________________ ____ ____________
Score: .... 7623 My Score: .... 76.25 (My bad rounding, I assume.)

B.O.O. CURRENT SCORE

Build/Power/Sabotage Level / # Cultists: .... (690 + 2103857 + 101) / 70424 = 29.88
Total Cultist Experience / # Cultists: .... 5355663 / 70424 = 76.05
Weapon Fires: .... 82 * 100 = 8200
Followers / Players: .... 1056360 / 70424 = 15
+
______________________________________________ ____ ____________
Score: .... 8320 My Score .... 8320.93 (More rounding error...)

I believe that the "Sacrifice Experience" ones make the weapon fire more. Just a thought.
The average SIN player isn't working as hard as the average BOO player.

Probably because they think their skin is a given.

Suckers.

Mules shouldn't be an issue, because it's a given that all BOO players dump their mules on SIN and all SIN players dump their mules on BOO, and since SIN has more players and therefore more mules I don't see how this is a factor working against SIN.

Actually, when you think about it, the larger team still has an advantage when it comes to mules. Think about it this way:

say there are 100k SIN followers & 50k BOO followers (just making it up here o: ) then say, every single one of those 150k users uses a mule. Well, then SIN has 150k followers & BOO has 150k followers. BUT, 2/3 of the SIN followers then are actually working hard while only 1/3 of the BOO followers are actually working. The others are just dead-weight mules who are trying to keep the soul-bound skins. Obviously it doesn't work 100% that way, but just know that the bigger team will produce more mules on the other team.

That being said, the disadvantage comes when you get casual users just joining the "cool" team, but then not actually doing any work. So, there you go. There are advantages AND disadvantages to being on the smaller or larger team.

But wouldn't there be more mules on SIN? Mules that aren't doing any work? I know the items are going to be cheap after the event so I haven't used my mules, meaning that that I didn't bother putting a mule on BOO. I would imagine other casual users aren't going to create mules either just to put on BOO when they also know they can use the marketplace to obtain the items or don't care about the other teams items. However, BOO people have known from the beginning they would be out numbered and I'm sure many people just plopped all their mules on to sin. Thus SIN carrying more dead weight. They would have the mules and the casual players.

Plus, I think making decisions based on the size of a team shouldn't matter. Especially on a site like Gaia were mules can be abused. If the smaller teams constantly win, which they have often then the math should be looked at. It gets boring when things are predictable. That's part of the reason I am so casual with the plots.. they're so obvious.
Man, that sucks. I joined SIN because I figured It'd be an easy win. I'd simply get my skin and do nothing. (I'm still not going to play the game) but It seems my "easy win" might not be so easy...

Better idea: Glitch versus Rigged?

... By Whatever Means Necessary.
Glitch?
I noticed that too.
I knew s.i.n. would get more people then b.o.o but, yep, I'm going with the rigged theory.

Not sure how that makes the event rigged so much as to make it fair, and for each user's effort to be made as to count to the score..

Under that same logic, circling every wrong answer in a multiple choice would get you a higher mark than circling half the paper correctly.

All it means is that effort counts in the event - and it should :3
