Your life on Gaia?

Hiyo fellow Gaians! I had a really weird dream last night! But I don't feel the need to really go into details as I think you might get the gist after reading this thread. whee

Anyway!

If you lived on Gaia, and I do mean YOU, the person behind the screen, NOT your avatar, the actually breathing, living entity that is YOU, YOURSELF, and all that jazz... If YOU existed in the Gaia world and not on Earth, where would you call home?

What parts of Gaia would you frequent most often? What shops, locales, and events would you frequent? Would you be a wonderer, with no particular ties to any one location, or would you be fiercely loyal to your hometown?

Think about what you know about your real-life personality for a moment and try to picture what places, activities, events, and other Gaian happenings that would mean the most to YOU, you PERSONALLY, and not, the fancy virtual doll you have dressed up over there.

Man. I'd prolly live in the CB then, because I'd not be able to keep up with the economy.

I'd imagine being stuck in a white, vast and wide empty landscape, so flat you could see a man running for 3 days; Occasionally you'd hear the human echoing of 'bump!', perhaps a civilization close by, you'd think, but nay.
There'd be mountains of 'Bump!' that you'd see savage newbs building more Bumps on, hoards and human mobs gathering around and participating in the daily 'Give Away' prayer rituals, doing weird dances with dices and money being thrown around...

I'll have to stop myself, or I might lose sleep over it.

I would have a tiny messy apartment in Aekea, would work at Sam's Body & Parts, screwing up cars and other vehicles, take the taxi home covered in motor oil, then jump into the shower to hang out later with some friends. ^^

And like I use to do online I would dive head first into every event battle or party or whatever, living it up there and having loads of fun <3 I love events <3

I also would steal away things before Nicolae gets the chance to steal them.

While this does beg the question of "what would happen to mules?" I've still had fun trying to plan things out.

House on the Isle de Gambino, wage war with the kokeshi dolls when I get bored, run my newbie clothing donation thing actually in person in a big blue tent they can walk into right off the train in Barton emotion_kirakira . After hanging around work long enough, I would hang out with a few close friends, hit the GCD forum "hall" or whatever it is for the latest stock market nonsense, then head off to the arcade for some Tiles.

I imagine each forum like a vital part of the social setting, it's a forum community after all; in the same sense that I also imagine the GCD to be a cleaned up place indoors, looking fairly posh etc.

I wouldn't mind living in Towns 2. Seems like a pretty cool place to live. I would still frequent regular towns, rally, and virtual hollywood. All those events would be really cool in real life too like the Halloween and Christmas events.

I always thought of the forums as like "buildings" in Gaia such as big halls and clubs and other social gathering spots, parks, etc. but not as actually towns where one would go to live necessarily.

I always thought of the forums as like "buildings" in Gaia such as big halls and clubs and other social gathering spots, parks, etc. but not as actually towns where one would go to live necessarily.

That is just the CB to me, a waste land; too big, mixed up and chaotic to be contained within a single building.

Yeah, the forums are a place in gaia, they have been ever since they introduced the original world map, just a lot of people have seem to forgotten.

If you click that and look at barton (should take you there instantly) the big bar looking building is actually the forums ^~^
