So today, I was talking with a friend, who I know has one of the largest wish lists I know (it's so big that my computer lags pretty hard when I'm on her profile). She practically puts every single new rig item that comes out on there. I found out through her that apparently, your wish list can eventually hit a limit. I asked her if she really wants EVERYTHING on her wish list and she said yes. ._.

Forks!
How big is your wish list?
Is your wish list realistic?
Do you actually aim to get everything on your wish list?
Are there items on your wish list that are purely there.. just because? (Ex. Angelic Halo)
Do you organize your wish list? Or use those little labels? (Questing, Bought, Donated)
Do you display your wish list on your profile at all? Maybe in hopes a kind donator will come along!
Or just tell me about your wish list in general!

For me, I only have two items on my wish list, and one of them I can actually afford (assuming it goes back down QQ) while the other is an item I'm trying to quest for. There aren't any items that I actually crave on Gaia anymore after I get my quest item (unless something I really like comes out in the future).

lucky! I did some donating a few months ago, going into random quest threads and throwing some gold at questers or just donating the item itself. 8D
I had someone donate a supreme student council to me a month or so ago too, so it all comes around. cool

"...of the crooked timber of humanity...

My wishlist contains (at the time of this post) 85 items, arranged by colour. I want all of the items, although there are one or two that are probably insanely out of my price range, ever (one being Lucky the Cat). Cat Faces is the only item I can't really see me using... I just want it, since I had it and sold it, foolishly... it's adorable. And, there are one or two items that are simply on there because I am questing them for an alchemy project.

I keep my wishlist mainly as a shopping list, but I do keep in on my profile for three reasons:
    1. It looks pretty, all colour-coded and such.
    2. In case any generous soul comes along. And,
    3. For anon gifting, during events. I keep some low-priced and gold shop items on there that I could easily afford, but refrain from purchasing, for those who would like to gift from a wishlist, but don't have piles of gold to spare.

I also keep my wishlist up to date. As soon as I purchase or receive an item on my wishlist, I remove it, so no poor soul comes along and sends me another (unless I actually want multiples of the item - if you see me wearing something on my wishlist, it's simply because I want another pose in that item). I get really annoyed when I send someone a gift, only to find out they simply never got around to removing the item from their wishlist). I like to keep my wishlist as tidy as possible.

Also, I tend to go through my wishlist once a month or so and remove any items I no longer want... it's amazing how quickly our tastes can change here.

Well my sister has let me know her wishlist is so big, she had to spread it over three accounts. Until then, I didn't know there was a limit either.

For me, I'd be lucky for it have reached thirty items. Most of them are items I can't decide if I want to get or not. Except for the Icy Inuit. I'm collecting those emotion_kirakira . So far I have two.
I guess when you don't change your avatar much, you can be really picky about the items you like. Atleast it made me really think about the items I actually want.

you know that's a good idea, I should put a few items that I kinda want in Gaia shops on my wish list. I realize that if anyone wants to be a kind soul, they'll only see two overpriced items on there.

I also keep my wish list updated. whenever I get the item I have, I immediately take it off. it just bothers me otherwise. :U

I know it lags for me when I look at it. Even my own profile lags....although I am pretty sure that is because it's a custom one whee .
Lol. I guess she must be. Its probably only like an eighth of the items on gaia though.

Only collecting them because of ATLA obsession and my avvie/oc is a waterbender.

could it be your computer then? o:
my family made my computer some high tech thing or something so it doesn't lag easily. so when I do lag... it's gotta be crazy LOL
oh, that's probably true. especially since Gaia keeps pumping out items. your sister will probably get to account number four soon. xd

ohh! the girl wears something like the icy inuit outfit. I get the inspiration now. 8D

I guess by size I do have a mildly sizable wishlist
Though I use it more as a "get this later" list
I stick it there till it gets cheaper

Most of the top half is for cosplaying
so I don't neeeeed it but if it's cheap
I'll snag one up for my cosplay needs

and if I look at it long enough it can sometimes save me gold
I'll realized I didn't want it or would never use it
It's happened before

Half of it is comprised of commons
Wait where are there shoes in it??
I don't even wear shoes anymore.....
I gotta go fix that real quick

My wishlist is rarely over 6 items,
I think I have 4 at the moment?

I only really keep things there that I plan to buy soon. and a couple longer term goals.

I consider my wishlist pretty massive, though probably not big enough to make anybody lag. I think there's over 300 items on there right now... I just added icy inuit thanks to this thread. whee

The reason mine is so big is because I use it to keep track of items I really want to buy eventually and I try to keep up with trimming out things I no longer like fairly regularly. I never leave anything on there after I've gotten it so I never mark anything as donated, but I do have a few items I especially want under questing so I can try to remember not to spend my gold on anything else.

When I came back from my long hiatus a few weeks ago I cut out probably 150-200 items.. some of which I'd still like to have but not nearly as much anymore. I have a really bad habit of checking what people are wearing so my wishlist tends to grow pretty rapidly.. as a result I've probably added just as many items, if not more than I removed. xd

Also, I like looking at other people's wishlists, especially if I'm going to gift or donate. I hate giving people things they have already. I'd rather gift something they intend to keep.

The items that I'm planning on buying are set to public. I had them sorted by items I want most on top, but there's so few now, I don't have much priority.

I also have some items set to private. These are items I'm just keeping my eye on. Some aquarium fish for when I have time to make a good tank again, some items that make a good investment at the time and an item I want to buy as a gift for someone. 3nodding

I'm collecting everything.

EVERYTHING. emotion_dowant

But I actually use my wishlist as a bookmark system, as there's so many items out there these days that I just can't remember them like I could in 07. So I list it, and some time later I scroll through my wishlist and take another look on why I wanted that item in the first place. Sometimes I can't remember or find the reason and take it off, but a lot of items surprise me again.

I don't organise it much though. It's not even visible on my profile. I did have it visible for a little bit when I was still making the profile, but it looked so ... chunky. The most organisation I've put into it has been to drag the items I need for my male-avi outfit to the top, to remind me I need to get those suckers before I gender bend.
