I'm thinking that if it's not some type of halo, it will be some type of angelic/demonic item, since they were first introduced in 2003.

A lot of things are going through my head at the moment. But I like your idea. It could be an Angelic Plushie, that switches over to demonic too. So you get both options into the one. whee
