Even if it was useful and not just another way for gaia to make money,
I can see it only really being useful in the mini-shops, quest/charity forums, and when people want to make item lists (like when a new rig comes out)
However, you can't edit your thread to have the promotion if your thread is already there. And that doesn't seem fair for people who just have a plain looking thread next to all these new colorful ones.

I should warn you to stay away from the CB.

This feature actually points out inflated egos more than helps your shop out to be honest.

One of the thread makers used the option but claims she think its a stupid idea.
