Paramour's Break: Tehe, I still like the story; lots of action! And the inclusion of a mysterious man watching them all... could this be that leader mentioned? *dun dun dun* Ha; fun. Item-wise, I'm quite pleased with this evolution; I love dem leg mods for Vera. They're like a more affordable version of that leg mod from that Dragoon item I'll never be able to afford. >3> I love having alternatives! The coat and hair are nice, but I really like the pants; I love all of the little details on them. Highly impractical? Maybe. Super cool looking anyway? Definitely.
Song of Amour: I like the end to this story! It vaguely reminds me of a Greek myth; despite the gloomy implications, I like the unusual path the end story took. Made it a touch more entertaining for me... and, again, I feel like I was reading one of Gaia's old myths. "And that's where love birds came from. Science lies." XD Item-wise, there are some very pretty pieces. That gown and I are going to have to meet up some time, because I love it. I'm fond of all the garment pieces this REI contained; in the end, I feel like there's a lot of opportunity for versatility in item use, something I really wasn't expecting when the REI was first released. And, though I doubt I'd ever use it personally, I love the stylized look of the cage. Overall, this REI exceeded my (admittedly somewhat low) expectations; it isn't my favorite, but I enjoyed reading about it. All things considered, it was a very appropriate Valentine's REI.
But, let's see... I think my vote is going to Paramour's Break again this week. My expectations are simply too high for it to do otherwise. ^_^;
