Well, this is nerve-raking(Is that the right words I want to use?)
This is my first time creating a topic in the GCD.
Been lurking for a few days, so I think I got the feel for it down though.
haha.

Um, anyways.
How come, when a lurker or a newbie posts,
they have this "Don't eat me. It's my first topic"?
It's kinda weird, yet I did it as well.

How is it that the GCD has come to this creature,
that'll eat you up if your topic will fail?
Or is it with all of gaia?

Cause the GCD has a reputation of eating people for not having the right thread in the Forum. And there are people who like to point out that a thread is a repeat, which would probably make you feel redundant for repeating it. Its just cause to be a little frightened.

But really, as long as they dont make a thread about something completely away from the topic of Gaia or post news over 4 months ago, nothing to really worry about.

Anywho, I totally notice that with newbies and lurkers posting in the GCD (and they know it belongs in the GCD). I guess the GCD just has higher standards for its participants, since our discussion threads do not involve simple minded topics (most of the time mad d)

I used to be afraid of the GCD. The only way out? You just have to keep posting and get over it. If someone criticizes you, ignore it, or take it to heart, but either way you learn from it to get tougher skin and create better, more thought provoking and interesting threads!

Here's hoping to seeing more of your topics! *raises glass*

Yeah, a lot of GCDers will eat you alive if your topic is non-conforming, non-repetitive, relating to old news, and if you haven't posted here before and have no good name established.

Sometimes they eat you alive if your topic/you are like that.

I didn't make my first thread in the GCD until 8 months after I started posting here sweatdrop True story~

Then when I mentioned in that thread that it was my first, everyone called me a liar xDDDD (good-naturedly I think ^^;; )
