Sheard Thanksgiving isn't a real holiday anyway. That's rather ignorant of you, don't you think? Personally, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Making the food, eating the food, having a perfect excuse to stay home and get wasted. Christmas comes second, the sex is usually better that day. 3nodding And then Halloween, where you scare the s**t out of little munchkins and take the candy that they spilled all over the ground. My bloody Halloween stuff is still in my yard. My dad is like, "Put that crap away!!" I miss Halloween. It needs to last like 2 weeks instead of 1 day. My grocery store that I work at is all Christmas-ed up. Though we do have Thanksgiving cupcakes in the bakery. confused Grocery stores like Thanksgiving because people buy food for that day. wink  |

My manager pulled out the Xmas tree on November 1st.
Everyone so far who has commented on it goes "it's too early for that." And I and half my coworkers agree. :/ It's not like we're a retail store or anything, we don't do a "SELL SELL SELL" push around the holiday season. Nothing like that. No reason to foist the holidays onto people in our line of business. The manager just likes Xmas trees. Because they're pretty. xp Also? At Target, on October 16th, I heard WINTER flipping WONDERLAND. |
