As for the other conversation that seems to have spouted, the fact that Christmas is advertised so early nowadays doesn't really bother me.

-shrug- We always start our shopping in September, because we're really poor, and have to get things in small chunks.

And I like thanksgiving for the food, only. No one comes by here to eat food with us, so it's just the family.

But I hate early Christmas decorations more.

I went into Wal-Mart on Halloween night, AS IN 6PM OCTORBER 31ST and they were decorated for Christmas. It made me cry on the inside.

However I don't care when it comes to Gaia avatars, that's never struck me as strange.

I'm with you! Working in retail has totally spoiled Christmas for me this year. We had decorations out before Halloween had even come and gone. DD:
