I like putting on my avvy what I like, and that usually includes my shadow spirit... which isn't the most expensive item, but I always have on. <3

i prefer avatars that know how to accessorize.
those are best.
sometimes it includes expensive items, sometimes it doesn't.
i hate it when people go overboard on angelic/expensive items though. o.o

I happen to have a lot of expensive items, so outfits I put together usually total up very high.

But price isn't important to me. If something matches perfectly, I don't care if it's a cheap sponsor item worth 1g.

This was my favorite this spring, and it uses cheap shop items, sponsor items, and various MCs and EIs that nobody thinks are worth that much. I love 'em though. smile

I am loving my avatar right now. It's super cute and colorful with the right amount of items and I finally have my kiki! I was questing it for so long so I'm absolutely proud to show it off. I tend to change my avatar a lot but I've kept with this one and I plan to keep it for a while unless I can make it better.

I love seeing a simple and interesting avatar consisting of mostly commons.
way more interesting than some of the "wealthier" ones.

I have a general preference for simple avatars but that's just my taste. Too much sparkle and glitter irritates me. But there are many of good-looking creative expensive avatars out there.

Well I like them to match and be somewhat cluttered.
And by cluttered, I kind of mean the ATs definition of cluttered, not the chatterbox.
I could care less how much it costs.
[however more expensive items like EIs have more variety and are therefore easier to use].

Cost doesn't matter as much as it looking "right" to me.
If it matches -it could be worth 200k or 2000k- I'm happy.

I'll admit that I am partial to flashy &/or color coordinated avatars,
and those tend to be pricey due to expensive items generally looking better ♥

When I look at an avatar, all I care about is it's style. No amount of fancy items can give you style, so I could care less about the price tag. I won't care if you're wearing a halo if I think your avatar is an eyesore. <shurg>

Admittedly, the fancy expensive items do tend to be nicer looking than cheaper ones and often have more options. But again, a well-placed cheap common is going to be much more impressive to me than an old MC thrown on just because.

I see far too many avatars that just are a clutter of 03 and 04 items.
They all look the same and they're boring and uninteresting.

I'd much rather see an avatar that's well put together for >20k than an avatar that costs millions and looks terrible.

I like having expensive items but I can't stand super cluttered avatars. The avatar I have now (minus the Gambinos, I just got both of them and wanted to show them off a bit) is probably one of my favorite I've ever made, even though it's super simple.
