Well. As long as the avatar looks nice, I find it fine.

I like a lot of poses for expensive items, and well I guess that is why they're expensive.

I have a few EIs, which I actually work ******** for, you know? Except for one that was a gift. I really try to put at least one or two in my avatar when I make one. Or try to make an avatar aroun a specific pose. Not really to seem rich, but because I really really like the pose. xD

I agree however, that the ones who just pile it all onto their avatar are really just showboating and it really takes no effort to just pile those items on there.

Edit : Basically what I'm saying is. If someone has expensive items, and knows how to use them, they can basically make immaculate avatars, though that's not to say cheaper items can't do the same thing, it's just well done expensive avatars just. Just the poses and . Love love love love love. <3

Edit : So I basically think EIs are expensive. What. What chu gonna do. Tho most really really really ******** expensive items, I have to say, aren't really that good, they're just to make you look rich.

Haha, the GCD has been known to think of itself as quite refined, so I'm not surprised that the members portray themselves as such. You should have been here for the Prommie wars which plagued the GCD a few years back.

Well I'm very sorry I offended you. It seems like you're agitated. You are right, though, it was a silly topic and I am beggining to regret it with all of this being thrown at me, but yes, it is biased as I said 'cheaper better', Sorry about that.

Just a small, general and OT word of advice, Floaroma... You really need to stop making assumptions about other poster's intentions or states of mind. You've done that to several different people in this thread and it's not a Good Thing. The accuracy of assumptions like that is questionable at best, particularly if you're feeling defensive.

Remember when you got up in arms earlier about someone "putting words in your mouth"?

That's exactly what statements like the one I quoted are doing. The people you're misreading aren't apt to like that any more than you do.

Yeah, I have over 1 million gold, but about half of that goes to avatars for me. X3

I've seen cheap avatars that look great, and I've seen expensive avatars that look great. Personally, I do better with expensive items and EI's because they have so many poses, but I apreciate anyone who can make a beautiful avatar out of gold shop items.
