I loved to hate Johnny.

But the artists aren't allowed to focus on the story because their bosses are clueless as hell.
Gotta make dem items for money money money!!

There was never that much focus on anything for lone in the history of the site the way I hear it from people who've been around longest so... I dunno.

It's not better but the situation is not... entirely worst.... worse. Than before.

Not by much at least.

The manga has never been particularly plot-driven or focused. In fact, I'd have to say that this is the most focused it's been in years. They seem to be trying to cobble together an actual plot and lore for the world out of all the crazy, silly nonsense that they'd done in the past.

I do think they put too much focus on the cash shop, but that's more a sign of the times than anything else.

I've never been a huge Gambino fan (I know, shocker), and have always tried to go with the Von Helsons.

That being said, one does have to admit that the Johnny K. Days had excellent plot.

Id like to see him come back, i don't think diedrich is his reincarnation, i think his a mutation that spawned from Johnny's ashes possibly a reaction the G-virus has to being burned. As no other grunny i know of can reproduce with itself like a gremlin.
