I'd be more inclined to agree with you if it wherent for the fact that, you compared the Sentinel to Sarah Palin. Who, quite honestly, if she where to go into office for something like president or vice, I would renounce my US citizenship right here and now and move to Poland. :l The woman has no place being there.

Although I can't really say I totally agree with the theory, and find it a bit far-fetched. I do like that it theoretically would imply that Republicans would be "The Evil Side".

Not that I think there's a "Good Side" in politics. As far as I'm concerned they're all working for the devil. No one in the government on the left or the right or the middle has really ever done anything good other than maybe fix some problem someone else in the government created.

I like to consider myself non-political. I think this planet would be a better place if all the scumbag demons in control of the worlds power dropped dead.

Of course humans these days are probably too insane and violent to handle that kind of freedom and would likely just turn into apes and start raping and murdering. But the idealistic perception of it is nice.

The trouble with metaphors is when you start binding the truth to make it true, and ignoring other truths to make it fit.

In the very beginning we hated the Overseer, and all of Aquariums. It generates GOLD. Republicans are credited with a lot of financial upturns in the US. DEMOCRATS are accredited with a lot of change.

My specialty has never been politics, but based on this, I see the overseer as Republican, and Sentinel as a Democrat who wants change. I'd say your entire metaphor is backwards and full of holes.

I was actually thinking the reverse direction with this.

S.I.N. Sorta reminds me of the Democrat side, being the younger one that tends too want to act and ends up being more popular. B.O.O. is the older one that is obsessed with defence.

One of the reasons S.I.N. was becoming so popular is how convincing her speech was, the same could be said about Obama.
