60 Trillion Gold Sink to Save Gambling Louie?
Louie's recent admittance to evading taxes has certainly gotten tongues flapping! This reporter decided to go undercover at the black jack tables to see who was frequenting them out of curiosity. Of course I used my own gold when visiting the good old casino. As the games went by and interest was lost, imagine the surprise I had when I spotted H R Wesley's very own Louie Von Helson sitting at a table. It was obvious he did not want to be recognized since he was wearing over large sunglasses and had his hair braided. He wasn't in his normal, stylish garb.
It was certainly suspicious as to why Louie was sitting at a table. It seemed he was doing well for himself and earning gold until his luck ran out. Unlucky the Cat just happened to walk under Louie's chair so it is no wonder his luck went sour. It was certainly interesting to watch as he lost and put himself in the hole sixty trillion gold.
That is no amount to laugh about. Of course someone like Louie would have that sort of gold just laying around. Nothing more was thought of it, why would this make an interesting story? Certainly Louie just wanted to blow off steam and obviously had the gold lying around.
On Wednesday, September 24th, everything changed. Louie admitted to being 60 trillion gold in the hole in back taxes because he hadn't been paying them.

"Everyone, please listen! You all know me: I'm Louie, Lord of Vampires (or whatever) and currently H&R Wesley's sole shopkeeper in Edmund's absence. I think I've been doing a fairly impressive job of running the place so far, but some... rather interesting news has recently come to my attention. It seems that when Edmund left, he neglected to inform me of the fact that the shop owed taxes, which have been accruing interest for -- well, let's just say for a while now, shall we? As it stands I owe 60 trillion gold in back taxes, and I'm not allowed to even open H&R Wesley's doors until I've paid back every cent. Whoops! "
So this opened the question, just what did Louie do with all the gold he owed in back taxes? When he stated it was"interesting news" was Louie implying that he gambled the money away? Why would Ivan volunteer to help Louie? Does he know of Louie's gambling addiction? Will Louie visit a casino again?
