A $100 virtual item is a lot by any standard.

Unless you can equip multiple poses, probably not. There'd be a ton of poses, but if it's only one item, you can only equip one at a time. It'd feel like a waste.

I had GC collecting up on my account and bought Dark Jubilee
during that special offer thing they did a while ago.
The only "expensive" item I've ever bought with my RL money
was the Zodiacal 1st gen and love it!
I'm not willing to throw out any more than $20 for a pixelized item.
I like to save money and spend it when I feel necessary.
I'd hate myself if I ever threw away $100 on one Gaia item
when I could've used that money to pay for 3 weeks of groceries!!! surprised
$100 is too damn expensive!!!

Well, this is already the case with most expensive items. If you wanted to wear a Manslayer set for example, you'd be paying at least 280million gold (or $2800 if $10 = 1mil).

Another way to think about it would be that it would be the ultimate accessory set for any outfit ;D

well then in that case, id have to agree with the person above, it would mainly have to do with how many poses you can equip. one is just a waste.

Since it would be hard for me to get dollars in the first place, buying it from the Cash Shop is out of question, but I wouldn't have an issue questing my heart out for a 100$ item, I'm much more easier to please though, I don't need a ton of poses, I just wouldn't really have an issue with the cost if it was something like an item containing Lovely Lucie's makeup pose split and recolored, I mean that lipstick in a lighter pink, red, orange, white, black * 3* I just so wouldn't care about the cost, add the mascara and eyelashes and I'm as sold as I could be~ <333

As for my answer.. HELL NO. I may spend some money on CI gambling when it comes out, but I have yet to spend even $50 in one sitting, muchless $100... only way it could potentially grab me is if we could equip multiple poses, not just one.

You really think they couldn't (or haven't yet) thought about this themselves already? lol
If anything, them seeing a negative reaction would further drive up the reason why it would potentially be a bad idea.
