GCDer's, it's hard being me I can tell you from experience, it's hard to be ignored by a reg here in out little forum. You browse along and see all the new topics, and one sparks your interest (woohoo finally!)

You open it up and.... "wtf? what does she mean by 'i agree'?" and then you realise who made the thread, and you're forever doomed to be locked out of all the happy fun discussion time emotion_donotwant

So guys, has being wrongly ignored by someone that you encounter often?
Had ignoring ever been more of a burden then a blessing?
Do you just LOVE ignoring people?

Personally I don't ignore people, I don't see a reason to either.
If someone bothers me I just stay out of their threads and if they
should happen to post in the ones I make, I'll read their post and
maybe answer, or not. But to me the ignore list is useless, thankfully :3

I've only ever had that happen with a troll.

I opened up the topic, saw no OP, and a bunch of "AUGH! GROSS" etc. I laughed.

the worst feel was when I saw a topic by someone and liked it, then found out I was ignored by them! I actually liked them so I don't know what I did. Sucks, 'cause it was a good topic.

The ignore list works the other way around.
If the thread creator is on your ignore list, you can't see their posts.
If the thread creator has you on their ignore list,
you just can't post in their threads, but you can see their posts.

I only have about 20 users on my ignore list, so I don't find them often,
but whenever I (rarely) do see a thread with an interesting title
then figure out it can't be seen due to them on my ignore list
I do get a little frustrated as I don't want to remove then add them back
on to the ignore list. Just too much work to see one thread topic,
especially if it is a very short and boring thread.

I don't put anybody on ignore, so this never happens to me. I only know for sure two people who ignored me, and the only reason I know this is because they... told me when they un-ignored me. sweatdrop I'm sure there are more.

I don't worry about it. If someone ignores me that's their prerogative, and I probably did something to warrant it, anyway.

I don't think I have been ignored by anyone, but I suppose you never know unless they tell you.
Oh! Wait, yes I have been ignored by a girl who stole my avatar and didn't like the fact I called her out.
I have a few people on my ignore list, but not very many and most of them were trolls.

In all my years of being, I don't think I've ever been ignored by a person... At least, not in the GCD. And back when I was super active, I only had about two people on my ignore list. I think I took those two off...

I never ignore any user. I only know of one instance of me being ignored. I was more happy than anything else. Felt like an accomplishment.

Actually, no. Although I am an annoying brat I am seeming lucky enough to have not been put on any ignore lists to my knowledge. Or at least, haven't been put on one that hinders my experience in the forums. Same goes for ignoring people. I don't have anyone on my ignore list who ever goes to the GCD. So all is well.

My ignore list is empty, so I haven't had that problem. At any rate, I think that if someone was so annoying that I had to ignore them, I probably wouldn't be all that interested in anything else they had to say, so wouldn't feel like I was missing out much if I couldn't see their posts.

I don't know if I'm on anybodys ignore list. I don't think I am, but there isn't really any way of finding out.

Every once in a while I go to post in a thread and the reply box is grayed out and I realize I must be on the person's ignore list. The few times this has happened, I have had no idea who the thread creator was so I don't even know why they ignored me rofl

You've got it backwards though, Mio. If you can't see a person's post, it's because YOU ignored THEM. You can still read things if the other person has ignored you. So just take 'em off your ignore list, problem solved.
