Tentacls a disappointing rip off

so I signed up to Tentacl a site thats basically a rip off of gaia even the admins look exactly like Loyale, Ian, ones dressed up in the Whimsea item set and Im like come on!! The forums are little more mature than the ones here but thats if you can figure out how to post anything. They even have Rococos garden dress right down to the arm poses. ugh I thought I hated this site.. Nope. Im crawling right back to Gaia again.

Did anyone else sign up for tentacl? What do you think of it.

Frankly Im disappointed.

I signed up, clicked around for a while, and then didn't go back. It was kinda hard to figure out and I didn't really put any effort into getting the hang of it. There was almost no variation in facial features or body types--I'm sure they've added more stuff by now though. I hope.
Comments/threads seemed more tumblr style than forum style? It was weird.

I signed in then out . Why did they not use avi bases they already got and started it up like gaiaonline with a added name to the address . Ask users if from gaia if they want to port over.

I'm a member of Tentacl and visit multiple times a day if I get bored on Gaia. Since it's Gaia's sister site, I expect a a lot of similarities and that appeals to me. "Rip Off" seems to be the incorrect term in this regard. I see it as an extension and a slightly different take.

I signed up, stayed for about five minuets and left for good.

Site is ugly, avatars are hideous. Just trying to navigate that mess hurts my brain, its like they're trying to cater to the people who aren't smart enough to actually enjoy a forum, its like every lame social media site got blended up and had a deformed, hideous baby. Then add porn, that's the Internets finest in a nutshell. Ugh.

You couldn't pay me to be on tentacl. It's hideous, like they asked a 14 year old to design an adult site. I hate that the avatars are more realistic-looking and not pixel art, too. It's basically like tumblr and imvu had an anime baby and it thinks it's all grown up. Yuck.

oh well, can't be helped at this point. the art is ok, i like the full size sexy avatars, but there's a time and a place. the forums are all out uncensored so i can't really browse it from anywhere, not so good. also can't browse it for s**t on mobile so there's that. also posting without quoting someone is ******** impossible. the unravel feature is kinda cool though :3

I'm hearing mostly negativity for tentacl. Someone's going to have to do some investigating, because the arguments against are weak and the arguments for are mostly non-existant. Do most of the people who like the site just stay there?

oh well, can't be helped at this point. the art is ok, i like the full size sexy avatars, but there's a time and a place. the forums are all out uncensored so i can't really browse it from anywhere, not so good. also can't browse it for s**t on mobile so there's that. also posting without quoting someone is ******** impossible. the unravel feature is kinda cool though :3

it's a game basically, you first create your own answers to the questions so other people may unravel you, and then you unravel other people. you're to guess what kind of people they are/what they do/how they think based on how well you think you know them. you can unravel anyone, and they can unravel you. it's kinda cool but it may freak some people out.

I just wish they'd stop emailing me. I signed up back when it first became available, because hey why not? I'll give it a try. Looked around for five minutes and got bored with how little there was to do and annoyed with how terrible the navigation was. But I noped the ******** out when I looked at the avatar store and discovered that most items could only be purchased with their real cash currency while giving only a few sub-par items for the fake money currency (which was damn difficult to earn).

Now this past week, they've taken to emailing me every single day with "alerts" as to what's going on and ~what's hot~, and so forth. emotion_eyebrow
