Summer Springs - New Facebook Game

So revision here, it's not actually Gaia's programming, facebook games in general are just glitchy as all ********. I'm really not sure how Zynga has managed to become so popular, its platform is *awful*.

So I'm at level 17 now, at a point where the difficulty seems to take a bit of a... curve, if you will. I was despairing of ever having enough gold for anything but then I found the Summer Springs forum here on Gaia and suddenly PRIZE GRANT LINKS, EVERYWHERE. My god, it's full of them. And then I level up and click the link and get more gold from Gaia for using Gaia to get more Summer Springs s**t. It's hilarious and it feels like cheating and I love it.

Plus, no matter what other people say it resembles, in my heart I can't help but really think of it as Travian without the assholes.

Verdict: Well played, Gaia. I'll keep poking at this game until I get bored of it.

Are you excited about Gaia making a new facebook game? Hell no I am not excited. I hate the fact they even bother trying to make FB games when they have a PERFECTLY AWESOME MMO FOR THE SITE THEY COULD BE RUNNING INSTEAD.

Does it sound like a nice concept? Again, no. It is just another rip off of Farmville and every other game on FB that attracts people into it until the game gets too long and boring or you have to dump real money into it to see the game progress further on. A person like myself who has no time to sit there and drool over my laptop or actually REMEMBER to play the game is not impressed with this cookie cut out of a game.

Are you playing it yet? I DID play the game just for the sunflowers item that was to be given to those who got to lvl 10. I got to level 10 and that was it. I am not playing it again.

I've always wondered why a lot of bachelors in HM and RF games were never Bara, and they were, as you said, anorexic anime twinks I mean I understand the doctors or the whatever else, but the ones who actually own farms or do physical exercise should be pretty fit.

Owen is one of my favorite HM Bachelors because he's actually buff, and looks like he could, you know, do some ********' work. emotion_dealwithit

But I think you're the only person who does anything meaningful in this game. All the other characters just look at you and whine and ask you to do stuff for them. Or something like that.

The current HM game I'm playing where you can be a boy or a girl is Tale of Two Towns. No one eligible bara character. Hell there isn't even ONE bara character. The most bara character is is the guy who runs the cafe and he looks like a ***** drag queen without a wig! I mean one of the bachelors that actually runs a farm of his own, heard sheep and cow and s**t, is more bishi than the main character.

If I recall, there was one (I remember it was for the Gamecube, and I think you where a girl all-throughout? I could be wrong, but it's been ages. Or maybe it was that it was the first one you could choose to be a girl?) that had a big guy you could date.

There's only two for the Gamecube I can think of, and the one where you could only be a girl was Another Wonderful Life. The three guys you could date were Rock, Gustafa, who was the singing hippie, and Marlin, who ran the farm with Vesta and Celia. Marlin was kinda of buff and masculine but I wouldn't call him bara...

No, I'm pretty sure theres another one. I never had a HM for the PS2, so i'm pretty sure I have the system right...

And I think the style was more chibish than Wonderful Life...
