Summer Springs - New Facebook Game

I decided to give it a try, because what the heck and it's not that bad. It definitely has practically nothing to do with Gaia, but I could see myself playing it in short breaks between classes and slow days.

So far it seems like another Casteville or Ravenwood Fair thing. I'm clinging onto the graphics and the hope of a good storyline.

Looks cute. I'll probably play it, be super addicted for about a month or so, and then get tired and forget about it. Kind of like with every other FB game.

Yeah, I kinda added some people from Gaia that I don't really know just so I'd have some friends who play the game... sweatdrop I'll probably remove them when the game gets old on me.

But for now, I'm having fun. =w=' It's a pretty simple sort of game, but I like city building and cute characters and farming, so it's a good combination for me.

All reasons that I've avoided farmville before. I really don't want to be sucked head first into one of these games. But this one reminded me terribly of Harvest Moon, and I had to try it. D:

Am I going to have to make a new Facebook for this game? None of my FB fwuends play games anymore and I've been meaning to actually delete my facebook for awhile since I hate every one of them. =u=

I'm playing and though I don't have a load of friends, I've got 5, 4 from accepting invites from Gaia and one FB friend from another game, I like how the game so far is set up that you don't need your friends to send you supplies to build items, send you energy, and/or things to complete quests.

The only real uses I've seen so far for having friends is to get bonuses from their farm, some great rewards when they post bonuses, and to help expand your farm. (A feature that in itself can be bypassed if you have the money to pay for the farm expansion.)

Oddly I'm wondering when they're going to make a General Announcement that the game is now available and how much of a tie in they will do with it for the site like they do for Monster Galaxy.

Maybe they'll at least let the cat and dog, Yoyo and Toto, become companion pets on this site.

I agree with you, I like how this game works. It's very good to have friends and cash but not having much won't get the player stuck forever. And the cash payoff for doing quests is nice too.

Probably the announcement will take long cause the game still in beta.
But I don't think advertise it as much as Monster Galaxy. MG was Gaia's creation, now Summer Springs is just a localization of a Korean Game. Hm, well, at least I hope there's some bonuses for Gaians and connecting both accounts.

Been playing it on and off for a few days; it's really cute. I like all the different 'sets' they have to customize your town, even though a lot of the cooler stuff is for really high levels.

I used to love Harvest Moon when I was younger and most of the newer HM don't do it for me, but strangely Summer Springs has that simple charm that I missed. xd

If they ever add a system to get married, oh man. Sophie. ;] <3

♥ Started playing a couple of hours ago and it's not too bad.
Bit slow for my liking but the graphics make up for it, the sprites are way cute!
Hoping to see more character interaction eventually, and it'd be nice if they could bring the sprites/outfit of the characters into Gaia as SDDolls or something. ♥
