Summer Springs - New Facebook Game

Haaaa~ My husband brought home a copy of OtakuUSA magazine on a whim, and there was an advertisement for Summer Springs. "Cute art, but I don't want to buy a Harvest Moon ripoff..." But as I was turning the page, I noticed Gaia's logo in the bottom right corner.

It's another facebook game. It's not actually been released yet been released now! Play it here.

Especially since the last thread about it had a dead Facebook link that didn't go anywhere in it too cat_stare

Anyhow, as for the questions, lets see...

• Are you excited about Gaia making a new facebook game? No, not really... Interested, curious, and maybe even confused, but certainly not excited... cat_stare
  
• Does it sound like a nice concept? It sound nicer if it was part of zOMG or Towns cat_rolleyes
  
• Will you play it? I'll probably try it, since I'm a huge Harvest Moon/Rune Factory fan, but I'd prefer to be playing zOMG and or a game not on Facebook, to be honest cat_rolleyes
  

Hmm... Too bad this will probably end up like Monster Galaxy, where if you don't pour $$$ into it, you won't really get to explore the full extent of the game... And, to be honest, I get that Gaia Interactive is trying to do the whole corporate thing, but they should try making what they have better instead of starting random, Facebook projects in hopes of getting rich quick cat_stare

Yeah, I'd be pretty bummed if it requires me to throw money at it to really play.

If I'm going to throw money at a farming game, it'll be Harvest Moon. =w=

I don't play Moga and I don't intend to play this game either.
Sounds like fun, don't really care if they are either seen as rip off or games inspired in the other very popular games. They are just not my sort of game.
At least not on a long run.
I feel better about games like zomg.

Hu hu hu~ It reminds me of Harvest Moon. A game I've played for years growing up. ...and used codes on. I'd like to try it out if I like it I may invest time in it. I just hope it's as fun as it looks and updates/expands without 'cash' requirements.

I like those Gaia facebook games, I really enjoyed backyard monsters, if only you could get a decent amount of gold I would play these more.

Looks interesting, but...
The fact its a facebook game puts me immediately off. The reason I hate Moga Galaxy is because its a facebook game and it requires me to 'connect to facebook' to play. I don't have a facebook account, and I find it annoying that I would be expected to make a facebook account just so I could play a game on Gaia. So if its the same as all the other facebook games on here that demand I have to have an account on another site to play the game, I don't want anything to do with it.

sounds just like harvest moon. Not a bad thing of course since that series is AWESOME.
But I dont think I will be spending any form of money on it (for bonuses and whatnot)

Since I am a HUGE fan of the Harvest Moon series, I will most likely play this game.

Why can't they used some generic Gaia avatars as the town people?
I would only be interested if it felt apart of the Gaia world, not just a another FB game with Gaia name pasted to it.
