I always imagined BATTLE SQUID to have a voice like Flay from Mana Khemia

That was my exact thought when I read BATTLE SQUID's post. Flay in the US version of Mana Khemia, so overly deep, boisterous, and 'heroic,' ala' Captain Hammer meets G.I. Joes the cartoon.


My own reading-on-Gaia-in-my-head voice probably shifts between an overly-educated Northerner in America voice to that of Hugh Laurie (in his natural accent). And no, I don't know why.

Ha Ha! That made BATTLE SQUID laugh greatly.

I don't give posts a certain voice to be read in, but rather a tone to illustrate the way I imagine the person's message was meant to sound. I read my posts in my own voice, I guess. I sometimes read an asshat's post in a nasaly, arrogant voice full of unwarranted self importance. BATTLE SQUID's posts are read in BATTLE BOTS announcer/DUFFMAN hybrid voice; energetic, booming, male, and with the pleasant aroma of stale sea life in the background.

My different avatars have different voices in my head, so I tend to read other people by their avis too.
This one is a cosplay of Jaws and for whatever reason my head makes Jaws sound like some british schoolboy (its the shota orz) so thats my current "voice" :I

I normally have a fairly normal guy voice for Battle Squid until he says battle squid. Then he sounds like this guy.

I read a few people differently in my head. Sinsario sounds like Jack Sparrow, for example.
