I'm shallow mrgreen I consider a person not a newbie once they begin to have fashion sense, as in, not dressed in flame clothes or cheap shorts. But they don't really become a regular until around 700 posts (bumps and spam don't count).

Now, some people can have like 1000 posts, but if they are constant spammers who don't type intelligibly, I consider them a n00b. Especially if they dress atrociously.

I would consider myself a regular. I don't obssessively go on Gaia and I don't post that often, and I'm not exactly too known around the site, so despite me joining in July '03, I'm not an oldbie. Not that oldbies obssessively go on Gaia... sweatdrop

Oldbie. I think a 'medium' user should be considered one that can type properly and make intelligent posts. An oldbie is someone who's been on the site for a year or more, consistentley.
