is the Love Charm III bundles? Around 700k for 999GCash.

I'm referring to the GCash -> Gold exchange rate. Dragoness is 250k right now, Heiress is the same, Mechanic is 125k, Daughter of Snows is 300k, and they are all 499GCash, $5.

Prince of the Sea 9th Gen? For 999GCash you'll get 370k. $10.

Is there any reason why people should use GCash from real money right now? If it's from sponsored offers by all means it's a plus. But to actually purchase GCash?

I just don't see the worth if you're wanting gold.

It's why I've been picky buying Cash Shop items with what little GC I get from the sponsored offers. A lot of direct to cash shop items seem cheaper to buy using gold instead of GC.

It depends on timing, if I buy a RIG bundle and sell them separately when the advance chance opens I can usually make 1,000,000 gold off of the $10 investment. The longer any GC item sits after release, the lower the gold to cash ratio will be. If you're looking to make the most you can, wait for something new to come out and sell them while the hype is at the max.

Also, I'm not sure if you're just asking advice or trying to start a discussion.

hint: Open the bundle and then sell the Love Charm's individually.
You get like 100k more that way.

Also, though you may find this to be surprising, some people actually buy stuff from the cash shop..... because they want the item. Not because they're after a profit for gold.

Just sayin'....
Some people (outside US) don't get as many sponsors as the others because many sponsors restrict their coverages. 10GC a day doesn't quite cut it for many of those with restrictions so they will need to augment their GC flow.

From my little knowledge of vending, freshly released CS items ride the hype a bit, then deflate over the month substantially, and then slowly climb in price once they're out of the cash shop. Not true 100% of the time, but it's just the pattern I've constructed as I track stuff.

No need to be condescending.

Even if they do want the item, the GCash to Gold ratio isn't very good. Their item won't be worth very much if they choose to sell it later.

Usually, selling the RIG's right away is how I get the most gold for my money.
With other things, I just let them take their course and use my RIG money to buy them when the stuff is cheap.
The only things I buy from the CS that aren't for my profit are MC's and the birthstone items.

Sorry, quite true.
I just really love sarcasm.

I still don't think GCash is only worth something because it can translate into gold.
Also, as Gaia has said before, it's not their job to regulate the market. By your reckoning GCash is worth more in the months that RIGs go over really well or the cash shop bundles are more popular and therefore worth more gold, but that simply doesn't ring true.

that's me. And it's kinda sad, and really explains why almost 9 years on this site, my net worth hasn't gotten above 20mil.

I'm the same, but I guess I value my enjoyment more over pixel worth. It's why I've never been rich in any game or website I've been on. whee

Same here.
I've never cared about the value of my items because I buy them because I want them.
So if I buy an item for 200k (arbitrary number) and it drops to 50k that doesn't bug me.
Gaia is much less stressful with this attitude I think.

What I usually do (though I think I've been forgetting it recently) is buying the thing that has the "highest gold exchange rate" and then sell that item on the MP, and buy the item I originally wanted from the MP with that gold. Usually, I have a lot of gold leftover biggrin

^ Thats what I do.
Or I wait for the newest RIG to come out to sell it.
