So i've been here 9 years.....how long will you last?

My first account was in 2005. *_* I've certainly had some noticeable hiatuses, so perhaps it doesn't count so very much.

But I ******** love the avatar system, I like the characters and world and plot (when they show up) and I've kept coming back this long. So something must be going right!

And I know for a fact that I have put more real money into this site than any other, yet it's only been about twenty bucks back in '07, so. XD Everything else was with offers.

I have been on Gaia regularly since 2OO4. I had another account in 2OO3 but left it after a couple of days of being bored. I have only ever taken one hiatus, around 2OO9-2O1O. I missed a lot during that time and I felt so out of the loop! gonk I think I keep coming back because of how many memories I have made on here. All of my IRL friends left long ago and they poke fun at me for still being on here at 2O, going on 21. I do not think I will ever leave Gaia for good, I just have too much fun here!

Unfortunately i've all but quit as of 2010. I got way more interested in tumblr and all my friends had left me. I've been trying to get back into the groove lately, but it's so hard ): And i refuse to pay for GC so there's that lol

As long as i dont forget my password, i think i'll sign in every now and then no matter what~

I was just talking to my boyfriend about this, actually. This summer it will be 8 years. Which is crazy to think about.

The past two years have been off and on for me. Life got so busy (I joined the military) and I just lost interest. Things have finally gotten more steady, and I actually have free time for things like gaia.

I think that's how it will be for awhile. For now though, I'm going to enjoy some free time on here.

I take many breaks, but I don't plan on leaving forever unless I become either homeless or dead. x)

It's been 8 years with scattered breaks. There's always been times where I get busy or lose interest for a few months but I always end up coming back.

i think i stay because gaia really has no "end" it has no goal or "beat me" feature. I don't feel like being a productive member of the community is required, so it makes it easier to like this place.

I feel like I'm not going to grow out of Gaia, because I grew up alongside Gaia... It's weird, but at this point I feel like I'll always be coming back even if it devolves into a once a year sort of thing.

I've been here 8 years in November, with only a fee hiatus' - half of which were causes by lack of internet.

I'm not sure what keeps me coming back.
The constant update of items, the want to make my avatar a pretty pretty princess, I'm not really sure.
There are people to talk to and I like the avatars.... it's a nice site.
