Silly Glitches- Now with a list!

Glitches. Mostly everyone hates them.
Some, actually love glitches and use them in a good way.

Now, I'm not talking about those green goo glitches.
I'm talking about those glitches that make items unequip each other.
Expect, it's those items that aren't even close to each other and they unequip each other.

The other day, I was wearing Silver Genie Earrings with an outfit. I then decided that I was going to equip Rose Bebe to my avatar when I noticed something funny. When I equipped Rose Bebe, I lost my earrings. I thought it was pretty odd but I ignored.

Now today, I was making a new avatar for the Chinese New Year. This time, I had my Masquerade, the lashes pose, equipped with it first. Then I tried to equip the Red Bao with it. And it unequipped the Masquerade pose. That was a bit annoying to me.

Anyway, has anyone else ever had something like this happen to them? If so, what items were they? If not, wouldn't you think this would be a bit annoying? Have you ever filled out a glitch report form in Stein's thread before? If so, what glitch did you report? Have you ever taken advantage of a certain glitch on Gaia?


List of Silly Glitches
-Silver Genie Earrings and Rose Bebe unequip each other

-Masquerade, lashes pose and Red Bao unequip each other

-Overgrown City Background and lifting your right arm makes the background disappear

-Wearing only Passionate Vocalist's top makes you lose your underwear

-Any contacts that layer over the Masquerade skin will remove the green band from the Traveler's Saga's hat

- Reverent Cleric's first pose unequips with certain hats

-Long Tusks unequips with masks and most skins. Also goes through certain clothing

-Chiaroscuro and Mad Hatter SDPlus dolls can't be equipped together in their doll poses

-Top half nude glitch for female avatars involving the Case of Pietro and another item

-Violet Starling boots with a type of bustier, like in Chekmate, it cuts off the top half of it. It also does it for the Blue Rubble Stocking bikini

-Cecilia's Circlet and Sainte Ciel's scissor pose messes up the arm and the cloak

-Saint Ciel's pose also cuts off part of Seracila Pendent (Aldebaran)

-Heartstring (The original color) used on the arm and Forlorn Opera Singer the first pose unequip each other

-Gloriana's Lace and pigtail wigs. Makes the pigtails layer behind it

-Gloriana's Lace and Chimes wig cuts off the buns

-A certain item with Strawberry Shortcake Queen of Cups' waist ribbons pose causes your avatar's back side to be bare to the world

-Planet 51 Antenna with the Metal's Last Hope hair unequip each other

-Planet 51 Antenna and most wigs unequip each other

-Faun's Legs with Nick's Vestments (from the Carol of Ol' Nick) unequip each other

-One Winged Soldier jacket unequips Pietro Thief's eyeblack

-Depth of Hades belt buckle the Purple Reversible Bracelets layer OVER the Anima bracelet in forums, regardless of what it looks like in dress up

-The Grape Striped Lollipop. In one holding pose, it turns into the Cherry Stripe Lollipop.

-Tomorgenne Maid slims down the waists. Meaning it slims dresses and you have to use hip items with the apron pose.

-Apple Rendezvous hair is unequipped by most maid headbands... basically the Meido ones and the headband from the Sapphires.

-Also, with Polly Hair, lots of stuff layer under the bangs that shouldn't.

-Waist ribbons from the Strawberry or Mint Queen of Cups with the Comet Candy top

-Serafuku Bows unequip Neck Ribbons

-Mystic chest jewel items layer behind Serafuku Bows instead if on top

-One glitch that I know of and make use of fairly frequently involves the Black Net Top and (as far as I know) any top that layers under it. For some reason, the Black Net Top will cut off the arms of tops underneath it, so you end up with all your tops turning into tank tops with only the nets over your arms.

-Nano-C powered arm (right) and a ton of handheld objects that don't show up with it when they're held in that arm in the down pose

-Most high-collared shirts and vests don't work with wigs that have long bangs, layering problem. Long Hair going through clothes instead of on top of them.

-If you put on a leg/lower body altering item while using the centaur skin,
the horse body will be removed, but the tail will still just...be floating in the air there.

-Also, for some reason the green blush from masquerade layers OVER some salon hair

-Dandy Lion unequips hats

-Cookie Boots by your leg unequips some hats

-Most Cat Companions in general seem to unequip hats

-Le Carousel silky hair and new Starter Bow Headbands unequip each other

-That Black 90s Visor and Le Carousel silky hair unequip each other too.

-The Imaginary Form skin from Imaginary Friend and the kimono from Nihonshu Geisha unequip each other

-Cowboy bandannas and some eyepatches unequip each other.

-The Red Abalone Bracelet layers like a held item, not jewelry, so it unequips all held items.

-Hell Prison Guard (Attached Baton) cuts off Deranged Surgeon (Fur Lined Coat), and turns it into a fur lined vest.

-Also, Starter Heroine Shoes layer over most other shoes. You can make some interesting combinations.

-If you turn around with the Heart Cloud crotch cloud pose(Misty Heart Clouds, Cheery Heart Clouds, Lovely Heart Clouds, and Moody Heart Clouds), it doesnt remove the backside of the starter boxers.

-How the Jockstrap cuts off the sleeves on some shirts. Its so useful, it doesn't work on any coats or jackets I have but longsleeve shirts work for me.

-Doki Doki Deito. Background appears on one side of posting, disappears on another side. I figure it has something to do with whatever keeps the text from mirroring.

-Candlelight Embrace, is allergic to way too many backgrounds. Meaning a lot of green goos shows up with it.

You know the Overgrown City background? Well, you can't lift up your avatar's right arm without it literally disappearing. It's still equipped, but it'll look like it's gone. I haven't gotten around to reporting it yet.

There's another item that's removed when you put on the Masquerade's red eye shadow (just that one color, none of the others), but I forget which one that is.

Really? That's awful! I love the Overgrown City Background but that sucks you can't lift up your right arm without it disappearing.

That's kind of odd that it only removes the red shadow.

Illogical layering; a Tekteker's worst nightmare. emotion_facepalm It sounds like a dramatic movie. There was a thread where you could report layering issues, but I can't find it anywhere. I have so much I need to report there. It drives me nuts.
