In the Announcement, it looks like two different versions of Anima Adamantea is used:
One for the "cosplay", but another for the Doll .... ?

The other thread should be done by tonight and by latest this weekend. I had a surprise move of all of my stuff this morning and have been rearranging my room ever since to compensate. A bunch of furniture switches, and a terrifying stinkbug discovery on top of it all.

Haha nope, not a surprise on myself. My morning went as such:

-woke up
-made banana pancakes
-halfway through making them, I'm told my stuff in our basement is being moved to make way for exercise equipment
- finish and consume pancakes
- been in my room ever since. >>;

Personally, i prefer truly good possibilities over hope any day.
Hope is just words that seems to promise good possibilities.
.... and too many promises has been broken.

Now, how about suggesting more Robot NPC's?
Let's not wait until the event with such a thing .......
They can be suggested through drawins/paintings, avatar- or tektek-edits(in paint or such), or just description.

Why?

Well, we want some kind of conflict wherein the Gaian Robots are important, right?
If nothing else, let's make bystanders, and wish they will at least be treated as the Ships in the Frontier Skies Manga!

So let's get back to this thread's main topic: Robots of Gaia.
..... What references do Vesper seem to have?
I've really not seen very many mecha-movies, so the strongest vibe i get from Vesper, is actually EVA-0 ..... or is it EVA-1?
Ok, i don't think Vesper is in that size, of course, but something in the menacing look, the mecha-armor, and the religousity, gives me that feeling .....
However, to fit in that tournament, .... it better have an arsenal of fighter-moves, and that is so not EVA .....

From where is Haku-men?
I mean, since he is claimed to be similar to Vesper?

Sorry for responding to this post so late! I just noticed now that you replied back to me.

I think you're right about Vesper being a reference to Neon Genesis Evangelion. As for which EVA unit Vesper is based on, it looks like a combination of both EVA-0 and EVA-1. The facial expression definitely looks similar to EVA-1's, where as the rest of the body is a mixture of the two mechs. The coloration doesn't match either of them though.

As for Haku-men, I have no clue. I need to see a better picture of him.

Hakumen is from the Blazblue series.

Now that I think about it, Vesper also reminds me of the Tekken 5 version of Yoshimitsu.

O_O Hakumen and Yoshimitsu had a baby (Vesper)?! Oh SHI- *HIDES*

Afterthought edit: As for the eva units coloration, 00 was orange-yellow but it got a new blue paint job after battle with Ramiel I think? Or whatever that blue diamond-looking angel was called.
