He's one of the Sentry Security companions in the Marketplace, with sandy-blonde hair. He also has his own SDPlus doll item in one of the older RIGs as well. :3

I think this is one of the first NPCs that I've seen wearing an item. (I could be wrong)
Makes me wonder if they just made it and gave it to him,
or if it's actually from the supply that we have access to.

edit: when you click "view equipped list" it says no items.
So perhaps they just pixelated it like the arms. /shrugs

That's a really good example. (sorry, I pay little attention to NPCs)

His equipped list also comes up as blank, so I'm assuming
they just ghost/pixelate the items.

I dunno, I would be a little bothered if I saw NPCs with really popular
in demand items on their avatars. I mean gaia can do whatever
they want, but that would seem very a little "unfair" I suppose.

Well, it's nice to see characters from past Chance Items appear again on the site, although I don't think many could work well as official characters.
However, I wouldn't mind seeing Ivan's Ivangelia crop up again with Ivan in a mini-comic or something...

Even if it was the actual item, it's not like the NPC could sell the item, it doesn't effect the economy at all. Similarly, when an artist makes an item, they can get it for free, but it's soulbound to them.

If the RIG NPC is interesting, original, has lots of potential for plot development or entertainment, then I say why not make it a plot NPC? It would be a shame to waste an incredibly interesting NPC just because s/he was featured in a RIG.

NPCs I'd like to see plot-ified: Mills and that girl who has two differently colored eyes and a scar on her face whose name I forgot. biggrin

I don't really differentiate from "RIG NPCs" and "Official NPCs". They're all official NPCs to me, living in the Gaia universe. Some just happen to more prominent than others, due to having been around longer, or because their focus is on a different aspect of the website (Cash feature vs free feature).

And I rather not have RIG characters become NPC's. Ivan was okay 'cause he was the first and I thought it'd be a one time thing. But it's not so now it's kind of annoying.

Didn't he do the announcement before appearing in the RIG? I thought this thread was for ones that went the other way around, like those star twins.

I don't care. There're a lot of NPC accounts they never do anything with, like that train conductor, so adding more doesn't change things much. I care more about if they appear in the plot and things like that.
