So I decided to check up on my friends here and its sad to see what gaia is now.........
One look at MP now and..........dang is about the only word that comes to mind........

I hoped and prayed that my friends were right and things would get better but sadly it hasn't.......

For now I just wanna relax, chat, and remember gaia before flynn's booty ore the whole center page thing.

I remember when I first started in 2009 and how a katana for 100k was so much, and i thought my friend was the coolest for being able to buy one >_<

I remember first getting here just to play ZOMG and having a ball collecting enough to make kimonos and selling them for around 5k each ^_^

So guys what do you remember from the "good old days" and what do you miss?
What would you change if you could and how have things played out in your perspective?

I remember when 1mil was a huge thing- now its nothing.
I remember having 100k meant you were seen as rich, now you're still poor.
The mp use to be easy to handle, could afford anything and easily donate to others.
Now, it's all about gold gens, cash and new items that are nearly impossible to get ;3;
When i first joined...it was all about fishing and rally was just becoming a place. ..

Zomg has went downhill too- from unlimited gold it went to 50k a day. ;3;

Lols before I left I had all of them, but I remember when I first started when you never knew which one would evolve that week and that is what made it so fun ^_^

Yeah I checked MP and nearly killed over.......
My mule account that I left was worth less than 5mil when I left is now worth over 300mil.......

Friends are the only reason that i bothered to even log in tonight.........

Oh goodness, I remember loads of stuff seeing as I've been floating around since 2004.

I remember pre-GC days when users would build these massive quest threads and make a big deal about questing for months for one item (that probably back then cost 100k, which seemed like a billion gold).

Other things I remember:

* When there was only one lake (Bass'ken).
* Users going on weird quests for a million of every trash item.
* When the 'big' ticket items to get were the Angelic set and the Nitemare set. Particularly the headbands (and they were super expensive to most of us).
* When people actually used "houses" here and some of the items were ridiculously loud and expensive.
* When Pink Giftboxes were actually rare and worth a lot of money (and had items people always wanted).
* For that matter, when people really coveted those stupid grass skirts and coconut bras, lol.
* When the creators/mods/staff were a lot more visible and chatty with the regular users than they have been in several years.
* When I was one of the 'older' members of this site at the age of 20, lol (that was a long time ago, obviously).
* I remember this site pre-advertisements, too. Not just the GC stuff, but all ads.
* And I remember the launch of the 'games' tab as well as the launch of zOMG.

I dunno, just all sorts of stuff.

Wow I sometimes wish that I could've seen gaia back then, but it was fun when I started just in 2009
Though I think i would be far more depressed at the state to which gaia has become, but meh can't fix it so y bother complaining right?

Oh do you remember the first few ZOMG events and how it got so many new people to play it even when they never would touch it before rofl rofl
