I know it sounds bad, but Gaia has a contract with Funimation which is a US company. ^^; They really don't have much of a say on the matter if you think about it.

They can't release it outside the US because of contracts with the sponsor allowing them to make the RIG and items in the first place. How many times does this have to be explained?

GaiaOnline has absolutely no control over who they can release it to.
It is a sponsor of an anime/manga series. The only have the right to do it in the US.
All this means is that users who live outside the US can only buy the items from the market or exchange.

I don't see how it is unfair. Everyone is still capable of getting their hands on the new items.
